This is Destitution, released on the Small Wonder label in the spring of 1983, the cat number is small28. It reached no.32 in the Independent charts and was played extensively on Radio 1 leading to a review on the Friday night radio 1 program "round table". This was significant at the time because it was almost unheard of for an independent label to get single reviewed on that program. It had very favourable reviews in several music papers and just missed out on singe of the week in the now defunct "Sounds". This record now regularly changes hands for a great deal more than the £1.20 asking price in 1983!
